Juan Ablan is an avid digital media creator that works under many mediums. He works within film, animation, visual art pieces, music, and video game design. Using these many skills he creates many types of projects, the most popular being short films. He explores many themes within his projects based within the different mediums he takes interest in. Overall, he seeks to create captivating stories and amusing experiences for those to enjoy.

As a Bachelor of Media Studies student at UBC Okanagan, I have a strong passion in digital media. My portfolio serves as the epitome of that great interest. I have worked on several of these projects since 2018. No matter if they were videos, animations, visual art pieces, music, or programming video games, I enjoy creating them all.

Eventually, this interest led me to learn all sorts of media creating programs. Looking through my portfolio, I have labelled the different programs used in each project. Whether it required a basic or advanced level of proficiency, I learnt as much as possible to create the projects I wanted to make. I am determined to master these skills.

I've worked on both small projects and big collaborations, all driven by my main goal: to do what I love and give it my best effort.
